The Great Backyard Bird Count is an annual event that occurs each February.  It's very easy! Come with your family or by yourself & join us at the zoo to observe and count birds.  We’ll add what you saw to a national bird list online. Bird sightings from all over the United States and Canada will be tallied so scientists can learn which birds are seen in the winter and whether numbers are growing or declining.  Oklahoma Ornithological Society members and zoo bird keepers will be on hand to help identify birds. All ages. Cost per person:  $3 (adult/child member), $10 (adult non-member), $7 (child non-member)
