Come show your love for our Zoo residents! Work with staff to make special treats for our animal friends. All ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Allergy alert: Please be aware we may use peanut butter, dairy, eggs, wheat, nuts and other possible allergens.
Beauty and the Beast

Be Our Guest! Come spend the afternoon with our animal beauties and beasts. We will have a themed activity, craft and enjoy a light snack before we are joined by some special animals! All ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Magic Treehouse: Children’s Zoo Treasure Hunt
April 10, 6:30-8:00 pm
Follow the clues to uncover nature’s bounty! Inspired by the Magic Treehouse books, our journey will start in true Zoo style-in our own Treehouse, and you will have after-hours time in the new Children’s Zoo! Snack provided. Ages: 5 and up. A parent must accompany children younger than 12 yrs.
Animal S.O.S. (Save Our Species)

Observe Endangered Species Day with your family right here at the Zoo with our family! Animals around the world are in trouble, come see how the OKC Zoo uses the Species Survival Plan to help conserve them and how you, too, can play a part. This interactive evening will inspire you and provide hope for the future of our animal friends. As a special treat, we’ll have a guided tour led by animal staff where we’ll meet a few of the species we’re working hard to protect. Standard prices apply. Additional participants $5 each.
Get Ready and Draw!

What better place to explore and expand your artistic creativity than the Oklahoma City Zoo? Join local artist, Lance Kelly, on a journey to learn to draw animals. This series of art classes will give you the opportunity to see the zoo’s unique animals unlike you’ve seen them before. If you like to draw and you like the OKC Zoo, then this class is for you! Cancellation and Refund Policy:
- Cancellations must be in writing—no phone or email cancellations will be accepted. Mail to: Education Department, OKC Zoo, 2101 NE 50th, OKC, OK 73111.
- No refunds for cancellations made less than 7 days prior to program start date.
- Classes are transferable to children in the same age group; however a 20% service charge will apply for any changes in the original registration.
- The Zoo reserves the right to cancel classes if registration is below our required minimum.
